Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 50 gm
- Basmati rice - 100 gm
- Onions - 20 gm
- Ghee - 30 ml
- Saunf - 8 gm
- Split Cashew nuts - 10 gm
- Sliced Green chillies - 10 gm
- Ginger juliennes - 10 gm
- Bayleaf - 5 gm
- Turmeric powder - 8 gm
- Chilli powder - 15 gm
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Boil rice separately and keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a kadai add saunf, bay leaf, split cashew nuts, ginger juliennes, slice green chillies and sliced onions.
- Saute it nicely and then add tomatoes.
- Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.
- Put boiled rice and mix it gently.
- Check for seasoning and serve hot.
