Ingredients
- Beetroots - 2 large grated
- Garlic cloves - 4-5
- Coriander leaves a little
- Red chilies – 6-7
- Coriander seeds - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Whole urad dhal - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Tamarind – lemon size
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Roast the red chilies, the whole urad dhal and the coriander seeds separately in oil and keep aside. Then cook the grated beetroot in oil for a few mins, add a little salt while cooking. First grind the red chilies, coriander seeds and urad dhal. Then add the cooked beetroot and grind it along with the garlic, tamarind, coriander leaves. Grind to a coarse pachadi. And then temper the ingredients for tempering in a little oil and pour it into the phachadi.
