Ingredients
- Mutton cubes-200g
- Coconut-1/2 (grated)
- Cashewnuts - 25g
- Refined oil - 50g
- Cinnamon - 5g
- Cardamom - 5g
- Cloves - 5g
- Saunf(Aniseeds)- 5g
- Chopped onions - 50g
- Ginger garlic paste - 5g
- Turmeric powder - 10g
- Chili powder - 20g
- Coriander powder - 15g
- Tomatoes - 50g
- Fresh coriander leaves-For garnish
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Make a fine paste of the grated coconut along with the cashew nuts.
- Heat the refined oil in a handi.
- Add the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and saunf.
- Once the spices crackles put the chopped the onions.
- Add the ginger garlic paste.
- Now put the turmeric powder, chili powder and coriander powder.
- Add the mutton cubes saute it for a while then add water and cover it with a lid.
- After 20 mins remove the lid and check if the meat is 3/4th cooked.
- Now put the tomatoes and cook it for some time.
- Now add the coconut cashew nut paste.
- Cook it for some more time till the mutton is fully cooked.
- Check for the seasoning garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
