Ingredients
- Raw mango-100g
- Carrots-100g
- Basmati rice-1kg
- Ghee-50ml
- Mustard seeds-4g
- Split urad dal-4g
- Bengal gram dal-4g
- Split cashew nut-4g
- Whole red chilly-5g
- Turmeric powder-4g
- Salt-10g
Directions
- Boil rice and keep aside
- Peal and grate raw mangoes and carrots
- Take pan and heat ghee
- Put whole red chilly, mustard seeds, spilt urad dal and Bengal gram asafetita powder
- Allow it to crackle then put grated carrots and mango and sauté it till it is cooked
- Add little turmeric and salt
- Now put the rice and mix it well witth a perforated ladle
- Check for seasoning and serve hot
