Ingredients
  • Raw mango-100g
  • Carrots-100g
  • Basmati rice-1kg
  • Ghee-50ml
  • Mustard seeds-4g
  • Split urad dal-4g
  • Bengal gram dal-4g
  • Split cashew nut-4g
  • Whole red chilly-5g
  • Turmeric powder-4g
  • Salt-10g
Directions
  • Boil rice and keep aside
  • Peal and grate raw mangoes and carrots
  • Take pan and heat ghee
  • Put whole red chilly, mustard seeds, spilt urad dal and Bengal gram asafetita powder
  • Allow it to crackle then put grated carrots and mango and sauté it till it is cooked
  • Add little turmeric and salt
  • Now put the rice and mix it well witth a perforated ladle
  • Check for seasoning and serve hot
