Brawn Vegan




Portion for two - Main Dish

 
Try this pure vegetarian easy recipe with Chinese flavour to take pleasure in on a bed of steaming rice. For cooking rice, please do check my Plain Rice.
Ingredients:-
1 Cup Soya bean pieces boiled (Nutrella)
½ Cup of peas
½ Cup maize corn
¼ Cup boiled kidney beans - optional
1 Cup Sprouted Moong
1 Turnip cut into small cubes
2 Carrot medium cut into pieces
2 Cucumber medium cut into square pieces
2 Tomatoes medium each cut into four pieces
4 Cherry tomatoes (hard) whole
6 Green chilly
2 Fresh red chilly
25-gram piece of fresh ginger chopped in strips
1 Cup ground nut oil
4 table spoon Dark Soya sauce
1-teaspoon white vinegar
Wash all vegetables before cutting into pieces.
Boil carrots and turnip cubes together for ten to fifteen minutes drain the water.
Spread 2-tablespoon of oil in a pan, heat; add the boiled Soya bean pieces and whole cherry tomatoes fry till light brown. Tomatoes should remain whole. Keep aside. Pour the rest cup of oil heat it in the frying pan. Add all the vegetables into the heated oil, except for the sprouted Moong and pieces of cut tomatoes.
Stir and turn for three minute on high, set fire on medium to add the rest vegetables.
Sprinkle Soya sauce and vinegar. Turn with a flat spoon. Cover and cook for three to four minutes on medium fire.
Enjoy the brown luscious crispy vegetables on a bed of white rice gorgeously lip smacking.
As a drink, pineapple, or mixed fruit juice goes splendidly. Cheers!
