Sour Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
Dry red beans - 1/4 cup
Kabuli channa - 1/4 cup
Brown channa - 100 gms
Tomatoes - 3 (chop finely)
Green chilli sauce - 1 tsp
Soya sauce - 2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 1/2 tsp
Corn flower - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Grind together:
Garlic - 8 flakes
Ginger - 2 small piece
Red chillies - 5
Onion - 1
Method :
1. Soak pulses 4 hrs in hot water. Drain and pressure cook for 20 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add ground paste, fry for a while.
3. Add chopped tomatoes stir and fry, add cooked pulses and stir on medium flame till oil sepamtes.
4. Add chilli sauce and salt, sugar. Dissolve the corn flour in 2 tbsp of water add it to the pulses. Pour little water and cook for few minutes.
5. Finely add tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and boil for 2 minutes.
6. Garnish with chopped green chillies and serve hot with non roti.
