Pumpkin Olan Recipe
How to cook Pumpkin Olan
What all we need:
a. Ash goud 500gms
b. Lobya 100gms
c. coconut oil 1 tbsp
d. salt to taste
e. green chilly 2 sliced
f. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Procedure
--------------
a. Peel the hardskin of the pumpkin and cut into slices of uniform cubes add chillies, and little mustard powder,salt and cook in a open vessel.
b. Cook soaked Lobya in a cooker.(Soak for about an hour before cooking)
c. add cooked lobya to the cooked pumpkin and allow this to boil for a few minutes.
d. add a table spoon of coconut oil to this dish and serve hot.
This will an excellent side dish with Morkozhambu and vathal kuzhambu
