Ingredients
Green gram dal : 3 cups
Rice flour : 1 cup
Cumin powder : 1 tsp
Asafoetida : a pinch
Turmeric powder : a pinch
Cooking soda : a pinch
Salt : as needed
Oil : 150 gm
Green Chilli : 2
Method
Cut green chilli into small pieces.
Soak green gram dal for a few hours.
Grind it into a smooth batter.
To the batter add all the other ingredients except oil.
Heat a flat frying pan.
Pour a spoonful of batter, spread, add oil and cook both sides.
Dosai tastes better when hot.
