Ingredients

Cauliflower :1 ( cut into small flowerettes )
Turmeric Powder :1 tsp
Salt :as needed
Onion :200 gm
Tomato:150 gm
Green Chilli: 50 gm
Ginger : a small piece
Garlic : 4 pods ( if needed )
Oil  : as  needed
Cinnamon :10 gm
Cloves : 5 gm
Cardamom :5 gm
Cashew  : 50 gm
Chilli Powder : 4 spoons
Chana dal Flour : a little
Lime :1

Method    

Boil water in a vessel.
Add  ½  tsp turmeric powder, salt,  cauliflower flowerettes and keep it closed for 5 minutes.
Grind 100 gm onion and tomato separately in a mixie into a paste.
Grind green chilli and ginger.
If needed garlic can be added.
Heat oil in a copper bottom vessel, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cashew and fry till red in colour.
Add onion paste, tomato paste, chilli paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder,chilli Powder, salt, and let it boil well.
Remove the gravy from stove and set aside.
Take the cauliflower flowerettes from the water roll it in chana dal flour.
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the cauliflower flowerettes.     
Cut 100 gm onion into fine pieces.
Take 7 or 8 cups.
Put 2 -3 fried flowerettes in each cup.
Add finely cut onion, gravy and a few drops of lime juice and serve.
This can be taken hot as well as cold.
This may not have a taste of manchurian prepared in hotels but will taste different.
