Required:
1/2 kg - mutton [pl dont try it with chicken, it wont taste that good-- personal experience]
1 big- Onion
2 medium or 1 big - tomato
1 bunch - spinach
5 bunches - small methi or 1 bunch -big methi
1 bunch - Coriander leaves
250 gms - green peas [dana]
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp tumeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp dhana jeere powder
salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp- ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tbsp - Oil
2-3 tspn -Sugar or a medium piece of jaggery
water
Method:
Chop Spinach leaves, methi n coriander ,onion n tomatoes.
Wash Spinach, methi n coriender n keep all separate.
Merinate the mutton wid ginger garlic paste , salt, chilli powder, tumeric powder,garam masala, dhana jeera powder n leave it for atleast 1/2 hour.
Take the oil n fry the onions till golden brown.
Add the merinated mutton to it n let it mix well wid the onion.
Then add the methi to it n cook till the water of it is evaporated.
Then add the spinach n again cook till its water evaporates.
Mix all well. Add the chopped tomatoes to it. Add the green peas n at last the chopped coriander leaves.
Mix all properly n add about 1/2 cup of water or may be less [ even all bhajis will give out water ]
Pressure cook till the mutton is done.
Adjust the salt as per requirements.
Add sugar or jaggery n mix well n evaporate all the left water it should b dry.
Serve it wid rotis or plain parathas n onions rings.
