Potato Chakli

Ingredients

Potatoes                              10 medium sized
Rice flour                             1/2 cup
Coriander leaves               1 medium bunch
Green chillies                     4-6
Salt                                       to taste
Sesame seeds                  3 tsp
Ghee                                    a little
Oil                                          to deep fry


Method

Boil the potatoes till soft. Cool and peel.
Chop the coriander leaves and green chillies finely.
Make a smooth paste of the coriander leaves and chillies with salt to taste.
Mash the potatoes well and knead into a dough adding the coriander paste, rice flour and sesame seeds.
Apply little ghee on your palms and roll the dough into a smooth ball.
Using the chakli  ( star) plate in the sev maker  press out small rounds (chaklis) in a polythene sheet .
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
Drop the chaklis one by one and fry till golden and crisp.
Drain in an absorbent paper , cool and store in an air tight container.
