bottlegourd payasa
ingredients;finely chopped bottlegourd;250gms.
jaggery(type of farm sugar used in india)150gms.
coconut milk;150ml
apinch of cadamom powder and a pinch of salt.
method;cook the chopped gourd till tender with salt and jaggery,
add coconut milk,bring to boil,add cadamom powder and remove from fire.
no other garnish needed. serve hot or after refrigeration for one hour.
(this is a healthy dessert since bottle gourd is one of nature's wonder and jaggery is not a refined sugar)
