INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup soaked chole( white chick peas) with a pinch of soda.
Onion: 1 (chopped into very small square)
Tomato: 1 Big (grated)
Garlic: 4 Flakes( grated or paste)
Ginger: 1 inch (grated or paste)
Haldi powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masaala powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Dhania powder: 1 teaspoon
Lal mirchi powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Chat masaala: 1/2 teaspoon
Chana/Chole masaala: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: A pinch (optional)

Salt: to taste
Dhania leaves: To garnish
 

INSTRUCTIONS:
 
Boil the soaked chick peas till soft. Keep aside the boiled chickpeas along with the water in which chick peas were boiled. Now take a deep pan.. put 4 teaspoon of oil.. add onion...saute till golden brown..now add ginger garlic paste/grated..saute for one min..add all the dry masaala powders. mix well. now add grated tomato, cook for 2 minutes till tomato is done and oil starts seperating. Add chole along with its water as desired. cook and mash few cholas to make the gravy a little thick.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with Kulchas, poori, bhaturas or naan.
