Raw bananas-2 Onion -1 Fenugreek seeds -1 1/4 tsp (Methi) Green chillies - 3 Turmeric powder - 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Stick - 1 inch piece Curry leaves - 1 sprigs Fresh coconut - 1/2 (Grated) Salt to taste Garlic - 4 flakes Lemon - 1
Method:
1. Grind the grated coconut and extract half cup thick and one cup thin coconut milk. 2. Remove skin from bananas, cut into 2 inch lengthwise. 3. Slice onions 1 inch long thin pieces. Slit green chillies lengthwise. 4. In a pan, put in cinnamon stick, thin coconut milk, banana pieces, methi seeds, turmeric powder, green chillies, salt. 5. Cook on low heat till the banana pieces is cooked. Add thick coconut milk. 6. Again keep simmer till the gravy is thick. remove from fire. Squeeze the lime before serving. 7. Serve hot with plain rice or pulao.
