Raw rice - 2 cups Red gram - 1/4 cup Black pepper - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Red chillies - 4 Turmeric powder - A pinch. Curry leaves - 3 sprigs Oil - 100 ml Salt to taste Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Bengal gram & Black gram - 1 tbsp
Method :
1. Mix raw rice, red gram, black pepper. Grind into one fourth rawa,sieve flour out and keep aside. 2. Heat oil, add season with mustard seeds. When it starts crackle, add cumin seeds, red chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida, turmeric Powder and bengal gram and black grams, fry till colour. 3. Add salt and 6 cups of fresh water and bring it to boil. 4. New add ground rice rawa mix slowly in the boiled water. 5. Stir cook until the water has been dires up. 6. Close lid and keep over low fire for 10 minutes or till cooked. Stir well. 7. Serve hot with chutney.
