
Ingredients
Drumstick( murungakkai) - 3
Moon dhal (paasi paruppu ) - 1/4 cup
Tumeric Powder - a pinch
Salt to taste
Moong Dhal - 1/2 cup
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
pepper - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Broken Urad dal - 1 tsp
Red chilly - 1 to 2
Method
1.Chop The drumstick into medium size pieces.
2.Pressure cook moong dhal along with the chopped drumstick pieces( OR boil the moon dhal with drumstick directly till both are cooked)
3.Heat oil in a kadai , fry pepper,jeers, urad dhal & red chillies and grind them with grated coconut , adding little water
4.Add this paste to the above. and add asafoetida, rice flour (Based on thickness)
5.Allow it to boil for a minute
6.Remove from stove and serve hot
