Kai Murukku Recipe


INGREDIENTS :

1.Parboiled Rice  -  3 cups

2.Urad flour          -    1/4 cups

3.Butter                 -    2 teaspoon

4.oil                       -     to fry

5.cumin seeds   -    1 teaspoon

6.salt                    -    to taste

METHOD :

1.Soak the rice for 4-5 hours . Grind it into a thick batter with less water .

2.With the rice flour add urad flour , butter , cumin seeds , salt and little water .

3.Mix and Make it into a soft batter .

 4.Take a small lemon size dough and use your index and thumb fingers and sprial in circular motion. (like sprial

rope) (It may be little hard, but after two or three murukku it would be easy. An exercise to your hand). Make this

murukku on paper towel.

4. Heat enough oil for deep frying in a frying pan (medium heat). Place carefullly the murukku in the oil and deep

fry both the sides and enjoy
