First, have to cut the Chayote and Onion as shown. Roast the groundnuts(peanuts) and corriander seeds and dry grind it. Can use even corriander powder.
Now take 2 tbsp of oil in a vessel, add the seasoning along with pinch of turmeric powder, when it starts crackling add onions and roast it a little bit - light brown color, then add the Chayote pieces, mashed garlic cloves.
Fry well adding salt and red chilli powder(1 tsp).
After 4-5 minutes, add 1 - 2 cups of water. Add 2-3 tsp of peanut powder and 1 tsp of corriander powder to it. Cover it and keep on medium heat. You can add the peanut powder depending upon your taste. When the gravy starts thickening switch off the stove.
Ready to serve.
