ONIONS-2
GINGER GARLIC PASTE-1 TBSP
CLOVES-4
CINNAMON STICKS-4
POTATOES-500 GMS
TURMERIC POWDER-2 TSP
CUMIN SEEDS-1 TSP
TOMATOS-5 FINELY CHOPPED
RED CHILLI POWDER-3 TSP
GREEN CHILLIES-3
CORIANDER SEEDS-2 TSP
COCONUT POWDER-3 TSP
SALT-1 TBSP
SUGAR-1 TSP
OIL-3 TBSP


PROCEDURE:
1.BOIL POTATOES AND WHEN COOLED PEEL SKIN AND CUT INTO BIG PIECES
2.ADD TURMERIC TO THESE PEICES AND KEEP THEM ASIDE.
3.FRY HALF OF THE ONION PEICES ALONG WITH CHILLIES AND KEEP THEM ASIDE.
4.ROAST CORIANDER SEEDS,CLOVES,CINNAMON,CUMIN SEEDS,GRATED COCONUT AND GRING TO MAKE A SMOOTH POWDER.
5.NOW GRIND FRIED ONION AND CHILLIES TO A SMOOTH PASTE.
6. TAKE A KADAI AND HEAT OIL AND FRY THE TURMERIC ADDED POTATOES FOR 5 MIN AND TRANSFER IT TO A PLATE.
7.NOW TO THE SAME KADAI ADD MUSTERD SEEDS,CURRY LEAVES AND CUMIN SEEDS. WHEN THEY SPLUTTER,ADD REMAINING ONION AND FRY TILL TRANSPARENT.
8.NOW ADD TOMATO AND FRY FOR A WHILE AND THEN ADD GRINDED POWDER AND SALT,TURMERIC POWDER AND SUGAR AND A SMALL GLASS OF WATER.
9.WHEN IT STARTS TO BOIL  ,ADD THE FRIED POTATOES AND COOK TILL THE GRAVY IS THICK.
10.TRANSFER THIS TO A SERVING DISH AND GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES.


SERVE HOT WITH CHAPATHIS.
