NextVegetable Khichdi Recipe

this is long story i got this receipe
my sisterinlaws husband was posted in surat in gujarat
there he shared his accomodation with his rajastani boss
they used to cook often and from the boss comes this special kichidi
and as a special sister it passed to me as we cook food involving every one in the family to do some thing
here goes the receipe
 
 
soak  1 cup rice and 1 cup toordal separetely for 1/2 hour
muli 1 ( medium for 2 persons)
onion 2
carrot 2
cauliflower 1 cup
mutter 1/2 cup
aloo 2
tomoto 2
 
oil 3 spoons
 
dhania powder 2 sp
chilipowder 2 sp
turmeric 1/2 sp
salt 2 spoons
 
ghee 1/2 cup
grate muli and cut onion into fine pices
cut all the veg in to cubes
 
heat cooker on the stove and add 3 spoons oil
add muli grated fry for a little while
then add onion fry for 2 more min( till pink)
 then add all the vegetables except tomato
mix well and cook for  3 min
now add rice and dal after washing well
add tomatoes chopped and water 5 cups
take another cup of water mix all the powders
add to the remaining in the cooker
 
put the weight and let it be up to 3 whistles
sim for 5 min and put off the fire
wait till steam goes
serve with hot ghee looooooooooooooooots of ghee ( dont count calaries please)
