Featured Recipes for Rose Almond Bread

I am a big fan of Rose..either be flower or rose flavoured ice cream, Faluda or rose jam "Gulkand". Everything that says rose attracts me.  Since i love baking, one fine day this rose cake idea got into my evil mind. Googled for it to get some ideas and this is what i came up with.
Since it's holy today, bread has some color on it.

Ingredients:
2 cup plain flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup veggie or corn oil.
1 tsp baking soda
Handful of sliced Almond //Now don't try to be smart and add pecan or walnuts. Rose and Almond go together so don't seperate this love buds.

Now rose flavour...nope not rose essense. I believe in using whatever i have in the kitchen. Last Summer i bought Roohafaza bottle to make Faluda. Since i don't like to use eggs i found this new way. Make a mixture of yougurt and milk and add that instead.
Coming to point, to get rose flavour add 1/2 cup milk to 1/2 cup yogurt and 2-3 tbsp of Roohfaza. Mix it well.

Mix everything dry first and then oil and Roohfaza milk yogurt mixture. Mix properly.
Lightly grease cake pan and pour the mixture. Bake at 350 F for 30 mins.
Enjoy.....

PS: You can add rose or pink color to get pink color if you like but being health nut i don't use those chemicals.
