Ingredients
Palak (Spinach) – 2 bunches
Split Moong (Green gram) dal – a handful
Red Chilly – 1
Onion – 1 chopped
Method
Wash and cut Palak coarsely. Pressure cook with a handful of Moong dal. In a pan add a tsp of oil and when hot add mustard and a red chilly. After half a minute add chopped onion and fry for a couple of minutes. Now add the cooked dal/spinach and salt and let it simmer. This dish goes well with plain rice and bindi or brinjal curry.
