Ingredients
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 150 gms
Saffron a large pinch
Pistachio nuts 20 nos
Almonds 20 nos
Cardamoms 4 nos
Rose syrup for flavoring
Method:
Boil the milk on very low heat, and by stirring it occasionally, bring it to a thick creamy consistency. The richer the consistency desired, the more the milk can be reduced by boiling.
Add chopped pistachio, almonds, cardamoms and crushed saffron. Boil for another five minutes and remove from heat to cool. Mix a few drops of rose syrup.
When the mixture is cold pour into small cups, and cover it with a thick layer of butter paper and keep it in freezer. After couple of hours take it out when it is frozen. De-mold it and serve with chopped pistachio as garnish on top.
