I medium size ripepapaya Two bananas Two apples, preferably the red starchy ones
Half a tin condensed milk Five tablespoons of sugar Three large spoons of ghee Half a litre full cream milk.
Soak the almonds in hot water for about 15 minutes Remove their skin and grind them into a thick paste with finely chopped papayas in half of the milk.
Heat remaining milk in a a thick bottomed kadai.Bring into a boil. Add the papaya, almond milk mixture to it and lower the heat. Add finely chopped apples (Skinned and cored) and bananas to the kadai. Keep stirring. Crushing bananas and apple pieces. When the mixture thickens add the sugar and condensed milk. Stir further adding the ghee. When the mixture attains a thick semisolid consistency switch off the stove. Let the halwa cool. Garnish it with cashews and raisins fried in ghee if you want to make it richer. But I personally feel there is no need for this as the halwa is already very rich. Enjoy.
