Rice - 2 cups Green capsicums - 1/4 kg Black gram - 1 tsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/s tsp Roasted gram - ltbsp Red chillies - 2 Oil - 2 tbsp Salt to taste
Method:
1. Wash the rice and soak in water for 20 minutes. Drain and add 4 cups of water and cook till done. Keep it cool. 2. Grind roasted gram and red chillies into a coarse powder. 3. Cut capsicums into 1 cm square pieces. 4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when starts crackling add black gram dhal, turmeric powder, salt and capsicums. 5. Fry till capsicums turn light colour and soft. 6. Now split ground roasted gram powder and stir for a minute. 7. Add cooked rice to the capsicum mixture and stir gently and serve hot.
Hint :
1. If like to taste alike optionally add garam masala powder and ghee also. It will come good aroma.
