Method: Heat the oil and add the ginger and garlic.Cook on low flame for 1 min. Add the green chillies and onions.Cook for a minute again.Reduce the heat and add soyasauce, tomato ketchup,vinegar, salt and pepper.Cook for 2-3 mins. Add 1.5 cups of water.Boil.Keep on slow fire for 2mins. Strain.Discard the solid parts in the strainer.Keep the liquid aside.Dissolve the cornflour in1.5cup water.Boilthe strained liquid and add the dissolved cornflour stirring continuously.Cook till a bit thick.Keep the sauce aside. To serve, boil the sauce and add the veg./ch./fish balls to the sauce and keep on slow fire for 1-2 mins. Serve hot decorated with finely chopped spring onions.ENJOY!!!!
