While scrolling through the Sulekha Food page I came to know that they need this recipe in Bengali recipe page. .But I know the Oriya style JhalMudhi…….We do it like this….
While strolling around the sea
JhalMuri
Half a bowl Mudhi (Muri or puffed rice) (about 200g)
1 onion finely chopped,
1 green chilli finely chopped
1 tablespoon mixture (fried channadal, sev both fine and big one)
1/4 teaspoon mustard oil.
*few drops of lemon juice
*Little coriander leaf finely chopped
*Cucumber three/four teaspoon finely chopped
*Boiled potato finely chopped three teaspoon
*black salt (Chat salt) a pinch
*red chilli powder
½ cup roasted peanuts
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix it. Serve immediately.
* mark are optional
Add cucumber while serving or else it will make saggy.
Mumbai style jhalmudhi
Mudhi ( about 200 g)
one small chopped tomato
one medium size chopped onion
1 tea spoon chopped green chilli
¼ a cup fine sev
finely chopped coriander
Mix well, serve immediately.

 to avoid any embarrassing situation in Office.
