500 gms Yellow split gram (chana dal)
1 tsp Cumin seedsÂ
2-3 ClovesÂ
5 Green chilliesÂ
1/2 tsp Turmeric powderÂ
1/2 tsp Garam masalaÂ
3 tbsp Coconut powder (fried)Â
1 CinnamonÂ
2-1/2 tsp SugarÂ
4 tbsp OilÂ
 3 tbsp GheeÂ
Salt to taste

Preparations
 Wash the dal properly. Â
Add turmeric powder and garam masala. Â
Boil the daal till it turns soft. Â
Heat the oil. Â
Add cumin seeds, and green chilies. Â
Mix boiled daal and water. Â
Now add salt, sugar and ghee. Â
Boil it for few minutes. Â
Serve with fried coconut.
