Ingredients for mayonisse:
2 whole eggs
1tsp. white pepper powder(you can use black pepper powder as well )
2 tsp. weikfield mustard powder
2 tsp. sugar , 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups ( 6oz tea mug . i usually keep this mug only to measure out the oil) refined oil or salad oil ( i use my regular refined saffola oil)
2 big tblsps. red malt vinegar.
vegetables:
1 cup diced and lightly boiled ( should not loose colour and crunchiness) carrots , french beans, potatoes, and greenpeas. after cooling place the veggies in the refrigerator till needed.
add all the ingredients of the Mayonisse together in a glass or steel pot and blend in with a egg blender. make sure the machine is not set to high at first. after it has turned smooth and thickish set the blender to high for a 2 minutes till real smooth. The oil should not seperate from the rest.
Take a transparent glass bowl and toss in the cooled veggies and to it add around 3 big scoops of the mayonisse. Toss to coat the veggies and check the seasoning. Put the bowl back into the Refrigerator till ready to serve. You may have left over mayonisse sause so just transfer it to a glass jar and stopper it and store in the fridge for further use ..... as a sandwich spread or as a topping on salty biscuits. use ur imagination. :)
OPTIONAL:
shred some boiled chicken or prawns. and mix in before serving. you can also place boiled halves of eggs before serving.
Or if you want to make a small meal of it just lightly grill some boiled chicken and place on the side with either lettuce leaves or on a bed of cabbage leaves. Its just a yummy dish and my family is crazy about it.
