Almond Strawberry Cake Recipe

I made this cake for valentine's day and everybody loved the cake..
The receipe may feel to be lenghty and complicated but its very simple and delicious as available in the market.
It gives a sense of feeling as u make at home.Try this and let me know how it comes....

Receipe for  Big sized cake 

Ingredients:-

1 3/4 C finely chopped, Mixed nuts (Badam Cashews, Pecans,pistas,lots of almonds) 
2 C flour -- all purpose four ---maida
1 T baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
3 large eggs,
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
1 1/4 C milk 
Cake pan (any shape as desired)
1 Can strawberry preserves
Fresh starberries
Philadelphia cream chesse
White colour icing tube from the market

How to make :-
1.Break the eggs completely and put it in grinder mixer jug .
2.Melt the butter ....
3.Add the sugar ,vanilla extract, almond extract ,melted butter and grind them together .LEt them blend 
4.Take the all purpose flour ina bowl
5.Add nutmeg ,baking powder and milk chopped nuts .

6.Add the blended mix together and mix all the ingredients to a mix .
7.Take the cake pan coat the pan with some butter and  sprinkle a thick coat of all purpose flour so that th cake does not stick to the pan
8.Pour the cake mix in the cake pan till 3/4 of the pan (dont overlaod the pan as the cake will spread will baking and fluff itself) and top it with the chopped nuts
9.Preheat the Oven at 400 degrees
10.Put the cake mix pan in the oven .
11.After 20 mins test the cake with a toothpick to see whether it is cooked .
12.If the toothpick comes out clearly the cake is made.If the cake is there in the toothpick the cake is still not done...needs to be kept for some more minutes.
13. See whether the cake is baked properly and fluffy
14.Let it cool down in a wire rack or just keep it aside let it cool for sometime.
15.Take the full load of philadelphia cream cheese (if diet consious add half load) in the mixer and add 4-5 table spoons of sugar and grind it together ...add milk if needed ...it should come out like a paste .
16.Spread a thick layer of the cream cheese over the cake ...leaving 1 inch of the sides of the cake .
17.Take the strawberry preserve (readymade strawberry pulp ) and spread it over the cream cheese ...Cover the sides also now
18. Take fresh strawberries and cut into halves.
19.Decorate the cake with the cut starberries over the ends of the cake .
20. Buy a white coloured icing tube from the market and draw a zigzag design over the cake 


THE CAKE IS READY TO EAT NOW .... EAT IT CHILLED .......Picture of the actual cake
